To strengthen our team in Hallbergmoos, we are looking for an experienced:

Team Leader (m/f/d), Flow Cytometry and Imaging

Your Tasks

  • Provide leadership to a team of direct reports through coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide in depth and hands-on technical expertise/scientific guidance to team members.
  • In conjunction with the other team leaders and scheduler, co-ordinate the team’s day to day activities.
  • Define with preclinical biological lead best strategy and timelines for project development and provide plan and FTE requirement.
  • Set up, develop and organize according to pipeline in high and low throughput flow cytometry / imaging analysis and cell sorting required for Anticalin and anticalin fusions characterization.
  • Interpret data to develop recommendation for project progression.
  • Develop tool box for multi-color flow cytometry assays.
  • Ensure set up of cell sorting.
  • Complete quality records (deviations and change controls) in a timely manner.
  • Write and review, SOPs and forms.
  • Present results internally and externally.
     

Our Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology/Biology or related area.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Proficience in set up and analysis of high complexity, multi-color flow cytometry assays (experience with spectral cytometry will be appreciated).
  • Strong technical background in cell sorting and immunophenotyping multicolor analysis.
  • Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and routine instrument maintenance.
  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills to be able to efficiently evaluate, prioritize and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Background in immunooncology or respiratory pathology will be a plus.
