We are loooking for an

Intern (m/f/d), Bioinformatic / Computational Biology (for 6 months+)

Your Tasks:

  • In-depth data mining of scientific publications, conference presentations, and public and proprietary databases.
  • Maintaining and using current bioinformatic infrastructure to support ongoing projects with database mining and data analysis.
  • Critical evaluation and presentation of scientific knowledge around immuno-oncology, target biology and mechanisms.
  • Generation of hypotheses that are testable in a wet or dry lab setting.

Our Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor studies in a relevant area, such as biology, bioinformatics, pharmacology, medicine, biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical science or alike.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent command of the English language are mandatory.
  • A strong background in immunology, oncology and/or bioinformatics would be a strong plus, but may be substituted by a keen interest to get deeply familiar with these areas.
  • The position is open immediately and designed for a candidate that is willing to join Pieris full-time for at least six months, a shorter duration may be possible for exceptionally qualified candidates.
